Case Study

Not a brochure — the practice itself

A website for a holistic nutrition practice that takes the bookings, runs the programs, sells the products and tells the story — so the practitioner can spend her time with clients.

People don't hire a nutritionist. They hire a person they trust.

Mariana is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant. Her practice rests on a straightforward premise — that everyday food and lifestyle choices shape how a body feels, and that most people need guidance rather than another diet.

But a practice like hers is not one thing. It's consultations, multi-month programs, a self-paced course, a supplement store, and a steady stream of education. Before the site, all of that lived in messages, spreadsheets and back-and-forth scheduling.

So the brief had two halves that pull in different directions: be warm enough that a stranger trusts her with their health, and capable enough to actually run the business. Most sites do one or the other.

Eleven pages, each one a different job.

The homepage introduces Mariana in her own voice and puts the free fifteen-minute consultation within reach from the first screen. The about page introduces her as a practitioner — her qualification, her philosophy, and what working with her is like. Our Approach explains the method: personalised meal plans, lifestyle coaching, workshops, and continuous guidance rather than a plan handed over and forgotten.

From there the site becomes the practice. Visitors can book either consultation format directly. They can browse five programs — a two-week reset, custom plans running one, three or six months, and a self-paced low-carb course — and enrol in the one that fits. There's a supplement store, a separate shop, a DNA test offering, and member accounts so someone on a program has somewhere to return to.

Eight articles cover what her clients actually ask about: gut health, cortisol and weight, liver support, antioxidants, the immune system, healthy aging. A FAQ answers the practical questions before they become emails.

The site does the admin so she doesn't.

A solo practitioner's scarcest resource is time with clients. Every hour spent arranging appointments, chasing payment or re-explaining what a program includes is an hour not spent doing the work she trained for.

So the site handles it. Someone can find Mariana at ten at night, read her story, understand the approach, choose a program, book a call and pay — without a single message passing between them first. What reaches her is a client who has already decided.

The free fifteen-minute consultation is the hinge. It asks almost nothing of a nervous first-timer, and it's on every page. For someone who has tried plenty already and found nothing that holds, a low-stakes conversation is a far better invitation than a price list.

Warm enough that a stranger trusts her with their health. Capable enough to run the business. Most sites manage one.

Four principles that shaped the work.

The practitioner is visible

In health, people want to know who they will actually be working with. We put Mariana forward — her qualification, her approach, her voice — rather than hiding a solo practice behind a brand.

A door that costs nothing

The free consultation appears everywhere, because the hardest step for someone struggling with their health is the first one. Everything else follows that conversation.

Teaching earns the trust

The articles answer real questions with no strings attached. Someone who learns something useful before paying anything arrives already believing she knows her field.

One place for everything

Booking, programs, store and content live together. A practice split across four disconnected tools leaks clients at every handoff between them.

A practice that runs while she sleeps.

Nourish with Mariana now has a home that introduces her properly, explains the work, and handles enrolment and booking on its own. Adding a program or publishing an article is routine rather than a project.

The relationship continues past launch. New programs, seasonal content and ongoing support are part of the arrangement — because a practitioner should be thinking about her clients, not her website.
